Silver Award
W3C Compliance
The Welcome Web Silver Award is for websites that meet the criteria for Bronze and also show compliance with basic quality criteria for web pages evaluated by the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C) validation service.
Website Assessments
Silver Award website assessments are Google compliant and score the following elements key to overall website performance. These elements are checked by search engines as they spider a website to determine its ranking and position in search pages:

- Backlinks; Inbound Linking

Your report will provide advice on how performance can be improved for the Silver Award if necessary. It will also help you or your web developer improve the overall performance of your website over and above what's required for Silver.

Website Health Checks
If your assessment report has highlighted faults, coding errors or W3C valuator warnings, your web developer will be able to use your report and scoring criteria to correct these and give your website a clean bill of health. If you do not have a web developer, WelcomeWeb will advise you.

Gold Award
